May 10: took the alpine coaxials and put in stock 6.5. Sold the SSR wheels, so car comes only with one set of wheels the 3 spoke concave Club linea 18". Price dropped accordingly.
April 27, 2010: The car is uninsured now. I will not be actively trying to sell now. If you are searching and come across this add, the car is still for sale.
I have purchased another car, so I will not NEED my 240sx anymore; however, I don't HAVE to sell it. If I can't get a reasonable offer, I will just keep it as a pleasure vehicle: it is so much fun to drive!
I have owned this car for 10 years, and I am the second owner. No accidents, no rust, body is in top shape. 22x,xxxkm on the original body and motor. Well maintained by a mature owner and not beat on. It is a BC car. It is the LE model, so it came fully loded. It needs nothing and I drive it daily. I have most of the stock parts that will come with the car. Not interested in parting out. Not interested in trades except for MAYBE a very clean and tasteful EG hatch +- cash.
It was intended as a RELIABLE mild street build with balanced performance in power, handling and braking. No dyno, but I would guess 200-220 rwhp as it stands now. Better fuel management, a larger MAF and injectors will get you closer to 300rwhp.
