RIP Marco Simoncelli... it was such a freak accident in MotoGP... died too young.

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
That was a crazy accident, and RIP. I feel for his family. I think everyone who does motorsports knows the risks involved and this could happen to anyone.
Here is a picture i took at Philip Island last weekend, Stoner and Simmoncelli giving a little fist pump at the end of the race. They finished 1-2.
RIP.

Hard to see clearly, but was that his head touching the ground before he got run into by Rossi and Edwards? And again, hard to see clearly, but was it that his helmet fell off, or exploded into several pieces after it got hit straight on?
Damn if the bike didnt keep gripping, he would have just slid out horrific how the outside black bike pinned his back and the inside bike impacted his head thereafterwards
The black bike is Collin Edwards and the inside bike is Valentino Rossi.
Totally unavoidable accident as Marco's bike slid back to the middle of the track right in the middle of the 2 racers in the middle of a turn. No way for them to avoid the accident.
RIP to such a talented rider who died way too soon.

some say that rossi's front wheel may have clipped sic's helmet ripping it off...in anycase it was a pure racing accident, nothing could have been done to avoid it and i hope edwards and especially rossi can cope with the loss as sic and rossi were close friends.

Marco was one of my favourite's on and off the track. He wasn't afraid of ruffling anyone's feathers and never gave up. He was a hell of a rider. RIP Super Sic:

That is actually Dovisiozo. For those that don't know, the two of them grew up racing eachother in Italy and have always had a pretty fierce rivalry on and off the track. GREAT shot! You should submit that to RRW or Superbike Planet.
