Sushi Nanaimo

Thread created because it seems to be the hottest invention next to the iPhone and Android.

Is this place good only because of the price?

How does it compare with sushi hachi in richmond? tsukiji? seto?

Their new Sushi Nanaimo sign is pretty eye-catching, spotted it on my way down hastings today.

I did a quick search, and both urbanspoon and dinehere has a few reviews for it, but really, not that much though.

Oh, and for the person who asked about their liquor license, no, they don't have it yet.

Is it a new sushi joint?

I've been here a few times. For the price, it's pretty good. Service is really good and friendly.

Maybe it's just me but I find the nigiri pieces on the large side.

Since this is a bang-for-buck sushi place. How does it stack up with a place like Sushi Garden?

Personally,

I would say it is both better in quality and service than sushi garden.

I agree, the sushi at sushi garden are large in size but mediocre. Last time I visited for lunch, the salmon was still frozen solid
