Virgin Mobile Coverage and Plan Offered

Virgin Mobile Rep offer me this (New Activation)

$55

- 200 Mins
- Unli incoming Local
- 1gb + tethering
- My 10
- Unli World Wide Text
- Unli starting at 5pm + Weekends
- Visual VM + CD

I cant believe that he offered me a retention type plan even thou I'm a new customer lol.

But my main question is that... how is Virgin Mobile coverage compare to Big 3 and what do you think about this plan?

Thanks

virgin mobile is just a branch off of bell so i don't imagine their reception will be like shit.
with all of the competition, im not entirely surprised at some of the plans being offered.

overall, a decent plan imo

bell uses tellus' towers out here and telus uses bell's towers out east... they're often referred to as "bellus" for a reason.

^yes. And I hate to break it to you, but your reading comprehension is weaksauce.

"virgin mobile is just a branch off of bell so i don't imagine their reception will be like shit.

see, now you have no more questions about that comment =)

On paper its not a bad plan. But I'm imagining its gonna be subject to a contract, right? If it is, I'd reconsider, as I personally wouldn't wanna be locked up to a smaller provider for the next 3 years.

^^^

there is nothing wrong with going on contracts.... i have replaced my phone with full subsidy every 1.5 years with rogers for the last 8years. i have seen other companies offer port in discounts of upto 400dollars(telus) that being in a contract means nothing to me.

oh and virgin mobile is bell....
