Don't those machines at Safeway take a percentage or take your money and give you in store credit?
Personally, I just take the dimes and nickels and go to a pop machine, put the coins in and then use the coin return to get quarters.
Then I have coins for parking.
As for the penny's, just roll them up and take them to the bank.

you have to roll it first before they will take it. | After you roll it, they'll want you to sort them in groups of 5 or whatever and rubber band it. They'll provide it if you don't have rubber bands.

Just a heads up, Paisano's doesn't accept change if you want to buy their pizza or calzone.
Joking aside, I heard casinos as well but I don't know how it works.

Use one of those self-served cashier machine. Pop coins in. May take a bit of time but it counts them for you for no fee and no hassle of rolling them up.

CIBC also takes them in without having an account, just gotta be rolled. also helps when the rolls are put into groups of ten. they'll give out the paper rolls when you ask them for it, but they won't roll it for you
