Just one shot from Seymour's opening today, feedback welcome!

**MOD EDIT**

Well the snow is starting to fall and I can't wait to get some fantastic snowboarding/skiing pictures this month.

Let’s start of the thread with Chun’s picture

Subject: Franz Li

Absolute fluke that it turned out like this. I can post the original too but it's not far off (other than the dodging and border I did in PS).

PS. the slopes were AWESOME today

Nice pictures
I'd suggest making the vignetting effect a bit less noticable and more darkeraround the edges

Love the picture. It's too bad he's wearing white, if he was wearing ANY color, I think it would've turned this photo from a really good photo to a great photo!

To be honest, the trick itself was not a trick, rather a glorified landing on his ass

Mananetwork: The reason why I did it was to somewhat bring out the focus of the picture since he was wearing white... any ideas how to do it? I couldn't think of anything!

I really need a faster lens.

Nevertheless, 70-300mm f/4-f/5.6 Canon gets the job done...

200mm really isn't long enough when you're shooting from the bleachers... so... who's got a 300/2.8 that I can borrow?

They never even ask about my camera bag, let alone check what's in it. Had no problem at any of the playoff games OR World Juniors games last year, either.

lol...you are so stereo-typical. what defines a sport? I personally think cheerleading is a type of sport. There's a LOT of team work, trust, physical endurance, strength, flexibility, and much more.

And I guess you wouldn't want to see the other photos either then. All photos include male and female athletes.
