its funny how many of the same vehicles..like a red 90s gmc pickup with its reverse lights on with the brakes.., same ppl riding bikes, or at bus stops you see on your way home from work...seen the same things so many times at almost the same spots..its weird

Redcelis celica is dope. Better than 75% of the peoples cars in the Ok forums thats for sure.
| Thank you. Quote:
Really, seeing as my car is bone stock and already in the 14s and won't b stock for too much longer, i've already challenged some dude in a celica who wouldn't go because he knew he'd get owned. And celi, if u drive a gt celica i will laugh my ass then bust out my 85 tempo and own u
| I believe he said that he knows of celicas that will eat you...not all celicas. And yes, my car is a GT...I didn't have the extra $8,000 to kick out for the GTS in addition to the $27,000 I paid for my car. I could have bought like 15 beat up mustangs like yours for that price, but I'd rather have a car that is reliable and not fugly.

GTS has a 180hp 1.8L
Also the bike theory doesnt make sense to me really... i'm not a bike genious but dont they make their peak power above 7-8000RPM?
Your average car is tuned to make power from 3000-6500RPM.

| So your bragging about paying too much for a slow ass car, yes u could buy actually 8 of my cars for that price, but my car is not beat up its in good shape, its stock, and can fuck up most of the rice on here, i prefer to brag about bang for the buck

-Travis- | depending on the size of the motor.
a VTWIN.. a honda rc51, ducatis have power downlow..
1000cc have power in the mid range and at the top..
600s power bands pick up at 8000 + rpm and scream like fuck past 10,000 rpm
bike engine rev crazy fast, when you need the power, its there.. its not nearly as slow as a car reving.. and having a 15,000 redline is sweet

...then there's the higher redline, 16" rims, foglights, and other options. Quote:

| If your "bang" refers to speed and torque, then I guess you're better off with the beater...but my car gets me where I need to be in plenty of time. It is more than fast enough for what I do with it. I don't drag race, so the 1 second advantage in the quarter mile isn't really that important to me. As for autoX, with equal drivers, the celica would kill you.

I'm calm as can be. I don't take these little spats to heart at all. I actually find them entertaining in a way. And I too was just pointing out facts...the fact that your last post was blatantly ignorant(and I use the word ignorant in its literal meaning and not as a derogatory term). The fact is that every racing event will have different drivers of different skill level in different cars. Just because a car wins races in kelowna, that doesn't mean that model of car dominates every autox event.
