i bought a ps2 from future shop..then went to visions was gunna go with onna those 400watt rockfords..but they were 299..and then the 12'' kicker cvrs were goin for 198...but i just couldnt make myself do it..bought a 760 watt..obviously peak..pioneer amp..and sub..i dont know if im keepen em tho..nebody wanna buy the setup for ill sell the sub for 150 and the amp for 350..not even outta the box..buy and sell in offtopic..woo hoo

what a night.. 4by'in is sweet until you get two blown front ends in one night.. well one is just problem a front hub but the other my buddy had a fatty pin that shot out is differential... was harsh... good video but harsh.. im too tired to actually type anymore so yea.. i'll hopefully have the video for it.

car audio is great, i built 2 boxes tonite, and installed amps for each in separate vehicles... both of them thump pretty nicely!

oh yeah, i'm now a fan of sealed boxes over ported, i plugged off the port on my box, much deeper tones can be heard now, and it eliminates the distorted noisy sounds coming out of the port

ports are only good when they are custom and the box is made EXZACTlY to spec for that woofer. the slightest fuck up in all of that will make a port sound like garbage.

very true... now that you mention it, the box for the pioneer 12 was ported but was only .02 cu ft off the recommended spec, and it sounds nice

the mtx 6000 and box sounded like total shit ported because we didn't have much room to build a spec box in a reg cab pickup, sealed it up and sounds nice

as for mine, i have no clue what the spec is on it, cuz its oldschool, so sealed i stay until i find some specs
