took the accord for her first long trip this weekend... kelowna to salmon arm and back... it ran great. smooth as can be.

the only problem was having no headlights and that my windshield washer spray ran out...

but looks like she's good to go now as soon as I get the headlights goin'.

Where exactly is mission raceway? And is Ashcroft the same place? I've been up to Thunder Mountain twice and I've always wanted to try 1/4 mile, so if you guys ever do go, I'll head there with you.

mission raceway park is in the city of mission, down on the lower mainland near abbotsford

ashcroft is along the trans canada in the fraser canyon about an 1.5 hours west of merritt, and we usually have a bunch of us from town here that go a few times every season

would you wanna take your nice looking 2001 gixxer onto the track where on a good day you'll only lay the bike down once? (if you're going as hard as you can)

didn't think so

ok i shall clear it up.. i have a 1999 yamaha r6. this is a race bike, not street legal.. i race on the track, thank you

my other bike is for street use.

dont tell me your going to take whatever car you got, pimped to the tits and redline shift the thing 200 times in a race and drive it home.. just doesnt work like that

oh shit, i guess in my signature where it says "race bike" isnt all that clear. my apologies for not being more specific

haha lol

anyways I'm still confused, where the hell do you race around here? I am assuming that you must also have a decent truck and trailer to take your "non street legal race bike" to this unknown location.

And why is it non street legal anyways some wreck that you fixed up to make it around the track, or are you so bling blinging that you just donated your perfect R6 to the track.

im building this track bike piece by piece. its not street legal because it has race glase. its basically a stock r6 at the moment. going to change the gearing, thats about it for now.. dont really need any "go fast" mods besides dropping a tooth in the front sprocket

there is a track in mission, calgary, seatle, portland, spokane.. california.. there are lots of tracks bud

and i go with my buddy who has a truck and a trailer.. we can tow 4 bikes to the track
