Maybe go to Vancouver to get it done. Its a bit cheaper down there. Most people I talk to say about $1000-$1500 to paint and install depending on the quality of your body kit and the quality of paint job you want.

instead of spending $1600 on a kit and $1700 on install, why dont you sell your car and put that money towards something worth driving. you can put all the money in the world into an 89 camrey and it will still be a rusted piece of shit worth less than the body kit on it.

IMHO modding should start with a car that is at least nice to look at

Fuck! I went to breakers last night and caught my bumper on the cement tire stop in the parking stall. A mounting bracket fell out and the whole passenger side of the bumber is loose as hell. I could slide it forward and pull it down... etc. Just went to take a look at how/where the bracket came from.. found it and found quite a few gouges underneath my bumper too. there were some i new of before.. now theres more. I gotta replace the rear bumper anyways 'cause I backed into a cement block last spring(thought i had more room when i didnt) its nothing that cant be fixed easily since its not overly noticable but its there... so I guess its time to look at some front/rear kits. They dont make them for my car so I gotta find something universal or something that would flow with the rest of the car... damn it all.... either way its gonna require work and fabrication.

$4500?!? | Yeah, that's about half of what I've paid for all my mods combined. Buying used is the way to go.

$4500 plus the $500-$2000 for the toyota (depending on what kind of shape it in) say $5500. You can get a nice little car for that.

That's roughly $12,000 in total to spend on your '89 Camry. You say you don't have money... you could get a damn pimp car for that much money.
After doing all that to your Camry, you probably wouldn't be able to sell it for a penny more than $5,000 at best.
Seriously dude... sellyour car, and use that money to buy something worth while
