3S-GTE is a factory toyota turbocharged engine. I think it comes out of turbo celicas or something but apparently drops into a camry. I have a crazy friend who drives the same gen camry and he drools about the 3S-GTE

It came in the all-trac celica and the MR2 turbo.
It's a damn good little engine.

I've got a mag with a guy who swapped out the 2JZ-GTE in his 96 supra for a 3S-GTE... puts down about 600whp and is almost half the weight of the stock I-6
