i definitely know what ya mean. when i crashed my first lude i was pretty sad. (i'd just paid for it, and i had only owned it for about 4 months) so yeah, i also feel for waylon it's a shitty situation. i'm glad to hear that closure has come to his though, and he's getting his money and going to get a new car. closure will never come to mike (obviously not DA_TEG i'm talking about), he'll never see his daughter grow up, he'll never see her graduate, he'll never see her get married, and the list goes on. saddest fucking thing i've heard in probably my whole life. first time i cried in probably 10 years.
your kids are supposed to bury you, not vice-versa.

Bingo.......you cant even talk about a human life and a car in the same paragraph.
To be honest all the money ive saved/spent every hour of hard work that went into every vehincle or thing i own. Nothing is irrreplacable, and i know we all take pride in what we own/drive which is sweet, but at the end of the day, there just shitty cars.
To be fully honest if the guy that bought my car wrote it off, i wouldnt care. If my dodge got written off, id be pumped to start something else.

gas is now 103.9 - highest i've ever seen it. yet companies like exxon-mobile reported a 58% increase of profits in the last financial quater(3 months).

Big Daddy: umm...I'm not 100% sure you can't be charged w/ it...BUT....it is highly unlikely that if you got off the follow too close charge (of which you are completely innocent) they'd throw another one at you. They simply have no evidence. Again...I may be wrong, and it's your decision...but when we got that streetracing shit and I said we were just speeding they let us go...they had nothing on us and we were innocent of the original charge...case closed....

btw: I LOVE THIS TOWN!!! I've got a job, got a SECOND interview at United Furniture tomorrow (probably getting it), interview at White Spot and more than likely at Crappy Tire and Subway...I like TRU and so far everyone I"ve met has been awesome....so far I"ve got no complaints about Kloops....which really surprised me haha

uh-oh...considering I'm used to winters where I dont' wear a jacket for YEARS...(I'm not kidding...it's sweatshirt time for me when it's winter ) that's gonna suck. oh well
oh yeah...I forgot to mention...damn you have a relatively rice-free city...I mean sure there's the odd double decker aluminum wing, but for the MOST part clean imports outnumber rice...and that's a relief from more rice than clean in Victoria (though I think ppl are finally starting to wake up there too).
The worst was Ontario...there wasn't a single import I woulda driven when I was tehre for 10 days....

It doesn't get any colder than -20. Last year I got by with just a light jacket. I don't even know if it hit -20.

Over all it was pretty warm last year, but we did have a couple of spells where it was damn cold, and then there was wind chill...

haha thanks...well there's no scaring me away...I'm not leaving 'till school's done but yeah...it'll definitely be a change from getting down to -3 a couple times a year hahaha....definitely not driving my truck in that weather (as far as I know the only time it has left the Island was when I've taken it over to Van for daytrips, and then now...) oooOOOooohhh....that sounds PERFECT!!! Thanks Craig My bro is working in Vernon right now and he's getting mon/tue/wed off, so I was gonna pick him up on Sunday night or Monday morning anyways...it'd be kinda fun to spend the day in Vernon I'm going to a job interview RIGHT NOW that would be for sat/sun but if I can get this sun off I'm definitely there I'll bring my cam too...see if I can get any decent shots (still need tons of practice in motion pics )

Am I missing something? ...or is the "Top Shift" banner ad up top have the gear numbers wrong? Keep hitting your browser refresh until it shows up and you'll see what I mean.
Unless they wanted it that way, the Mods might wanna let them know about it

Tamas. Check the autocross thread for more info. Registration CLOSES at 9:30 SHARP... It will be a wicked day of racing. www.autocrossracer.com for more info.
On another note, if your still looking for a better job, try Fastenal. I work in the Kelowna store and it's an excellent company to be with. Also, if you have a welding ticket there is apprently ALOT of work in that town.... Just an idea.
