MAN! i ate the a couple weekends ago after a night at caprice. i still have dreams of their ham and pineapple. it hits the spot eh?? im gettin some more next weekend.. yes!

yesterday i come in to work at 9 and this lady from the woneshop comes over and says that the chef is having another heart attack. this would almost be ok if we werent already shortstaffed all to hell. of the 7 cooks we have 4 are gone to that hippie shambala thing leaving me the chef and this kid that jsut started this year. so yesterday i did all the prep up until noon when the other guy arrived and we cooked for both the dinner and the lunch rush. i worked from 9am-930pm. that sucked.

:lol I just got into the food industry....worked nearly 10 hrs today 6am to 3:30pm w/ a single 10 min break...only getting paid for 9 too 'cuz someone else wrote down my in/out time...grrr...whatever I applied as a dishwasher and got hired as a prep and I"ve worked 4 shifts and there's already talk of me going up to straw (fries, zucchini sticks, wings, etc)....and I have the hottest coworkers I've ever had ;)

Where are you working now? I think you mentioned it once, but I forget.

meh...I'll stick it out 'till I find out just how I like/hate it....apparently I have no troubles getting jobs in this town...so I'm not too worried...and I'll have to see what jobs will work w/ school and what won't.....also I have no student loan right now...so that'll hurt....

just came back from the track day at spokane. fuckin amazing time. i cant believe how much i learned in 280kms of track time. first outing of about 10 laps were so weaksauce, i was getting passed by tumble weeds in the corners. then on my 4th or 5th session i really started to pick up the pace and by the last time i was goin hard. seeing the red flag meaning last lap made my heart sink. i was in the zone.

3 people crashed including one of the people we were with. i had a few big wiggles in a couple braking zones and cam almost ate shit comming out of a hairpin.

in any case, fuckin awsome time. great weather minuss some wind, great people, great atmosphere, great experience. even considering it was a 6 hour drive there and 6 hours back :(

so i was just looking thru the local classifieds and realized how unrealistic the prices are on the older honda and acura cars. a few i saw that i thought were high are 91 integra GS with 207km for $9000 and a 90 prelude for $6500 with 180km. these ppl are crazy and need to look at the market prices

yeah man...I dunno what's going on...some of the stock Honda prices are insane...then there are cars like my buddy's Accord (same gen as Big Daddy's) 5spd, custom paint (not even a year old) body kit, lowered, i/h/e, some other misc stuff, 17s, etc and he had it for sale for EVER and finally let it go for 5100 :(

ICBC paid me $600 to fix the massive dent in the rear quarter panel so i went out and bought a crowbar to fix it :D. still looks like ass but not nearly as bad as before. that leaves me with $590 to blow on booze yay
