Parking is gay. I figured since they doubled the price, more people would walk and take the bus, leaving more spots for my lazy ass. I was wrong. The demand for parking is inelastic.

here's something freaky...in my Jour 320 class there are only 13 of us...out of that 13, FIVE of us are from Vic. Of the other 4, I used to help one w/ her essays when I worked for the English Dep't at Camosun, another went to my high school and was in my brother's grad class and one of them knows an ex-g/f of mine....how's THAT for a small world???

here at vic it costs $5/day to park! i'll be bussing it. screw paying that much and then fighting over a place to park. at first glance there doesn't even seem to be much parking relative to the size of the school.

not to mention door dings/ theft/ vandalism and then gas dude.

and the hot chicks you'll meet on the bus ;) :D

Stupid schools and their need to take our money! grrr... i go to buy a parking pass for the semester and the price has doubled from last year... they're $120!!! not impressed... on the plus side about parking.. even tho they 'raised' the price of day parking to 2 bucks.. the machines still take loonies ^_^ ... ugh... glad i have a upass... it will put to good use im sure

grrr....I can't get a student card/upass 'till I pay my tuition...which is not happening anytime soon 'cuz of the fucking gov't. I finally got them to overturn their decision...at least the panel did...now if the manager signs it, I'm in the clear...but it's about 3 weeks of paperwork to undo the stuff they fucked up then another 2 weeks to get my money....bah!!!

On the bright side....I just finished my first interview for an article for a car magazine ;) Can't say which one just yet...but as soon as the article is finalized and I know FOR SURE that it's getting published you'll be the first to know :D:D:D

Is there no way around that? Have you gone to the finance dept and asked about getting the ID card?

YAY!!! well saturday i decided to take a break from the travelling for a while. today went and applied at a couple places.... 1st one i did 4 interviews there in an hour, all different managers. waiting for call backs on sat. then the 2nd place i met the 1st manager, waited for an hour for the second who was too busy. so another manager told me to go and he'll make sure i get hired and call me later. well 3 mins after i left he called and i got the job!! training starts tomorrow :D

unfortunately i have no game since being flung back into the singles game after such a long time. for now i can only admire from afar. but holy shit did i ever do a lot of admiring today.

Bah, funerals suck... especially when u see the man u love with all ur heart in so much pain, it just tears at u inside :(

on the plus side though, I might be getting a prelude as long as it's mechanically sound and my mom and step dad will shell out $3000. I think the money part is fine, I'm just hoping it will be mechanically sound. Unlike this piece of shit I have right now, that's only running on 2 cylinders, lol.. I kinda like the 2 cylinders though, I think that's what's contributing to using such little gas that I only have to fill up once every 2-3 weeks.

The profs are wicked, the actual subject is awesome and the ppl in my class are the best classmates I"ve EVER had....

and I'm back to work on 5:30am on Saturday....working 'till about 2-3ish then fucking off to Vernon for the night then Field of Dreams the next morning w/ a bunch of S10 owners....I'm mean seriously people....I love my life :D

also: my finger stopped bleeding and is taking a fasttrack to healing...it's actually looking pretty fucking good...it was a big straight cut and now it's starting to take back the original curved shape of my finger :eek: creepy, but cool :D

So back to school......Man there is an insane amount of young gorgeous women at my campus this year.....like its shocking.

Makes showing up everyday somewhat justifiable.

I forgot to ask, it's an older one though. I just glanced at it and a prelude. I was gonna go for an accord but the salesman said not to buy it. I think the prelude is a standard so it will be nice to get back into driving stick.

I should find out more on Friday or so, cause my mom wants to take either my gramps or their neighbour down to check it out cause my gramps is a mechanic and the neighbour is use to working on hondas. So just gotta wait on the verdict on the condition of it, and also if they will pay for it.

in regards to the prelude, sounds like its 88-91. if it's an 88-89 2.0S model, it's carbed and relatively slow. if it's a 2.0Si, its injected running 135hp with some goodies like all wheel disc brakes and 4 wheel steering if you're lucky. 90-91 had the 2.0Si and the Si models... or something like that. the 2.1L engine in the 90-91 wasn't the greatest and burns oil pretty bad late in its life. some of the 90-91 had the 2.0L and all of them were fuel injected.

wicked...not too sure where we'll be going or where the show is for that matter (going w/ ppl who have gone in the past) but I"ll definitely be on the lookout for your car :D
