Met Corey from The Trailer Park Boys tonight. Seems like a pretty cool guy, apparently he doesn't smoke weed...

Learned the bata trail between postil/james lake tonite in a lifted 79 ford. Headlights went out 1/8th of the way back on the trail so it turned out to be a very long drive. Side note: SNOW!!!!! inch or 2 up on the ground... 2degrees...

I finally figured out the way to go from bartley rd out to bear main, and back down to westside rd last night. It took me two hours to get thru there, and the roads at some points were merely de-activated bush trails. But a good route to have fun on once the snow pack builds up!

Although if you did walk out of it in one piece, youd have some pretty amazing stories to tell. Youd have experiences that would be shared by only a select few people, probably make some great lifelong friends too.

anyone know anything about Chevy Blazers that I should know about before seriously looking into buying one?
it's a 1999 with 120,xxxKM on it, and they're asking around $10,000 for it. which i am obviously going to try to avoid paying. (the full amount)

they arent worth shit anymore.
lots of problems with interior quality like plastic things breaking
ball joints and tie rods are a common issue
my buddy has a Jimmy that ive spent alot of time wrenching on for him.
but for the $8-10k that you can pick up a 6 year old SUV for, they arent too bad

thanks for the speedy reply...
yeah i did notice the interior did look to be lacking on the quality side a little bit, but this is why i am not buying this blazer...
...looking over the body on the outside i notice something a little wierd on the paint, right under the rear window. there's a white silhouette of a rectangle in the paint. so i rub the paint and i can feel that there is a sticker on the body that had just been painted over. looks to be a rental car sticker (placement, shape, size of sticker) they literally just painted right over this thing.
whoever owned/worked on/painted etc that vehicle was too stingy/lazy to take off a sticker before a full paint-job, or take it somewhere that does a GOOD JOB, and would remove a sticker before paint. it makes me wonder what else was cheaped out on in the past 6 years. not to mention if it was a rental vehicle i wouldn't really want to go that route...
...fuck someone find me a later model SUV of somesort for a decent price. me love you long time.

Found a decomishened trail up black mountain today so I took it. Came up and over the top, took a walk around and came on down. Found a old log cabin up there, and a bunch of interesting trails. Got a flat tire on the way back tho, and somehow I ruptured a gasline and the interior flooded with gas. Not good...

The Bf and i took a random trip to kelowna for the day yesterday... good times, hit up the casino, both ended up breakin even.. which isnt too bad. Went to that Mexican place called "Dj's" for dinner... not too shabby actually, tho the service was a little slow..good food tho ^_^
In all a pretty good trip, its been a while since ive been to kelowna.. the last time was a shopping trip with the mom and grandma.
Not to mention random road trips are always more fun ^_^"
