Our mechanics program rocked! We had so many cool shop project cars on the go.

-69 chevelle 12.2 second drag car
-98 Gmc sierra ext cab 4x4 that we lowered and twin turboed (with only 250km on the Odometer!)
-86 mazda 323 aftermarket turbo setup and autocross built suspension
-73 buick centurion that we restored, lowered threw on some chrome 17's
-98 gmc c3500 cab and chassis 6.5 turbo diesel (only 50km's on the odometer)

Whoa, I got carried away there... HS was fun times.

even though that c3500 only had 50k on it.. those 19.5's in the rear were bald!

will do, and yes it is starting to hurt.. only the bottom ones, as they were able to pull the top ones out in one piece.

^Happy Birthday Danny!

Needless to say, a buddy ripped a good strip off Budget Rentals when they told him he couldnt do this... Obstructing weight limits etc... While the budget clerk was Open faced with no remarks when we told them Nowhere in the contract did it say transporting of vehicles is prohibited, and the GVW is over 5000...

besides... it was cheaper than using a tow truck since we already had the truck, and had access to the ramps.

you were the manager of the team?

Wow, just wow! I have been driving an '07 MazdaSpeed 6 around for the last few days and honestly I am speechless. For the price of the car it is honestly a terrific value. It is no STI for performance but seeing as it has leather interior and a sunroof and when asked to it will stay right up on an STI's tail (as discoverd with a STI in Oyama). I was a little worried how it would do this morning on the ice and maingly my road (if you know it you will understand) but it did amazing, I had to work to get it to kick out. One huge down side to this car is Boost is addicting it kills your economy!!! After all this however I am only left with one complaint/question, why is it that car manufacturer's don't put turbo timers in their turbo'd cars? It is honestly just annoying and a neusence to have to sit in the car for a few extra minutes upon arriving at your intended destination!

Slo40 02-27-2007 07:50 AM

LOL!!

Is that Lightning McBeamer?

Happy B-day Danny.

probably because they dont need it...people aren't "supposed" to "beat the shit" out of their car...and it's tuned so low that it doesn't even really need it. that's my guess anyways...
