Probably ulic and lomac?

RRxtar 03-21-2007 05:36 PM

well, Super WOP changed his post cout to the max, which is 44521, but a search reveals 9500, not counting the ones that were lost in the DB erase, so we will ignore that one.

Ch28 has close to 23,000 and ulic has just under 20,000.

Lomac has about 10,500 since 2004

is anybody else sick of being caught behind the streetsweepers with the 'now hiring' decals on the back? fuck, i've gotten stuck behind one of them at least 3 times now that they're doing the sweeping during the day.

it's driving me nuts. i realize they can't pull over every time a car comes up behind them but for christs sake shimmy over or something before someone kicks your ass.

Delerious 03-23-2007 10:15 PM

my fucking 360 got the infamous 3 red light ring of doom tonight... went to take it back to future shop under warranty and they said they can't fix it because it's not a year old or some stupid shit like that... so now i'm stuck sending the thing off to microsoft for them to fiddle fuck around with it for a good month or so....

i still don't regret going xbox tho :D

Just let 'em do their job, it takes 30 seconds out of your day and there's so more shit on the roads...

i agree completely, but i was only ranting because i've been stuck behind one of them 3 times now for about 10 minutes at 15 mph.

on the plus side, i parked a boom truck in the yard today and spent a couple hours trying to learn all of the controls and move around a pallet of bricks. those things are fun to learn.

to much happens out here in the flatlands of the world.

so my pup is just over 7 months old, had her fixed a few weeks ago. what a german machine, after surgery she was jumping on everyone and all the people at the university hospital where totally shocked because they've never seen a dog that just got injected with sleep after surgery bounce off the walls.

somehow she managed to eat the e-colar (cone collar) off her had, i had to zap strap it back together with tie raps from work.

we took her to this dog park in the city thats by the river, its acers and acers of grass, tress, and water. she chased me for a few miles before i gave up and collapsed and than chased my gf back the other way.

what a machine. damn.

so than i started a new job with shaw, transfered to a different department in the field.

holy shit, talk about 80% pay raise.

also bought a van for work, have to provide own vehicle and tools, part of the reason it pays alot.

97 dodge carvan, will get some pics soon. all rigged up with 28ft fiberglass ladders and dual sliding doors.

hoora.

will buy a new truck this next winter season.

im thinking i dont need a winch, my dog could probably pull me out of a ditch if i ever got stuck!

ColinK 03-26-2007 08:28 AM

so what kinda dog did you get? a german shepard?

saloman 03-26-2007 09:20 AM

^
German Shepard sons like a winner!

Business Simulation is Over Yay Now only have 4 classes left yay

SmokeyTheBandit 03-26-2007 09:38 AM

she is a german shepard, golden retriever cross.

sometimes i dont know which one is more dominant.

she has the colors of a shepard, looks more like a retriever. wags her tail like a retriever, is happy to see everyone.

when we play, in the house or the yard she has the natural instinct to try and bite my arm off like so

http://www.nsgsdc.com/images/sch1.jpg

she did even when she was a baby, now its starting to hurt like hell

jeffh 03-27-2007 08:02 PM

so almost got cop owned tonight.

I pulled off my street onto valley road right behind a cop, HID's a blazin. we're cruising along and im keeping the aloof distance (you know, close enough to not look obvious but far enough to not own the cops eyes with the lights) keeping to the exact 60kmh speed limit.

so he starts slowing down for me to get closer, so not wanting to look guilty i get to the regulation 3 cars length behind and then start slowing down (hes going like 30kmh at this point) and then he speeds up to 60 k again. we keep cruising along and he kinda wanders into the opposite lane and then swerves back a couple time.

then without warning or signals he turns into the church parking lot on the left side of the road and proceeds to start busting a u turn. i say to myself "i dont need anymore no front plate tickets" and speed up to 70 in a hurry and turn left on Cross road; then left again into the closest neighborhood then right onto a dead end street and turn my car off behind some loafy SUV.

i guess the cop saw me turn into the neighborhood
because he rolled on by looking down the sidestreets all slow like. so after he pulled around the bend i booked it out onto Cross honked on it until Glenmore and then back home. so much for a nice relaxing cruise. stupid cops :2finger:

ColinK 03-27-2007 09:00 PM

haha harsh...I went through a road block tonight and the cop asked me if it was "foggy in my world" haha, I was like wtf?! Then he told me that I had my fog lights on, and it's $109 haha, whatever. He didn't seem to care about the hid's tho, so I might just leave them in!

bmxkelowna 03-27-2007 09:16 PM

did you get a ticket or just a warring?

ColinK 03-27-2007 09:18 PM

oh no, just a warning, but let me tell you about this other time.

So I ended up locking myself out of my car and my house and had to piss SOO bad...

illegal to have on if it's not foggy. And it seems to be a consensus between all the cops, because ofcourse as soon as I drove away from the first roadblock I turned them back on. Well, I managed to find another on sexsmith a little later tonight, and that cop told me the same thing :(

they tend to do some weird assed things... if we had 1/3 the car population vancouver has, they'd never look twice at a green integra lowered with wheels and hids.

nope, they wouldnt look twice. they would just set up a roadblock and look once, and then issue a VI.
