I'm starting to hate working 2 jobs. Starting at 8am, get off at 430, than start another job for 5 and work till 10 licks balls. Working 7 days a week, and something like 60hrs every week. I dont have time to fix things on the car, or go out with friends. This may long has sucked. I havnt been able to camp, not even go to the bogs to drink, because i'll have to come back to town to go to work. Fucking rants. I just need some time off.

SmokeyTheBandit 05-20-2007 03:27 PM

i use to be in that same boat not that long ago.

doing the same thing with two jobs, 8-11 6 days a week and than one job on sunday for 8 hours.

lucky for me now i got one job that pays more than both i had combined with less hours

make sure you save up money for the tax man

how do you guys ride the roller coaster of being so happy you can not believe it is real, then all of the sudden so lost and disillusioned that you feel like the last chunk of your life has been a complete and total loss of time that you cannot recover

girlcrazy_420 05-21-2007 08:30 AM

I cant say that I'm truly bitching about it... but; i've got things that need doing. A few hours here and there, dont give me time for anything. By the time I start/get off work, parts places are closed, banks are closed...etc... I didnt get one damn thing accomplished this weekend. Being given a few hours at night dosnt truly give me enough time to do a proper re-and-re, time to resurface the flywheel, swap the turbo, fix things that I break, replace and re-calibrate sensors, or fix broken exaust studs. I cant be without a vehicle for a few days as its used for work purposes. Iether way it will be down for a day or two; but it atleast gives me more of a chance if places are open. Not only that, but time needs to be spent around the house helping with random chores. I am partially to blame, havnt been worked a full-time job in a few months and my priorities scedual is way out of wack.

Side Note: Anyone see the Lifted 06' Duramax on some 'blingin' 24'(or so) wheels on 40" all terrains stuck at postil last night? Truck is sunk halfway up the doors, dosnt idle by itself anymore; and has next to no chance of getting out. A 6wheel drive semi broke its winch trying! Better Yet; it wasnt even the guys truck!!!

holy crap, 6x6 broke his winch trying to pull him out, that is a pto driven winch, like 20,000lbs i think. jeez he must have been buried.

girlcrazy_420 05-21-2007 07:58 PM

zumvette 05-21-2007 08:02 PM

ok now that the motor is broke in, well for the most part. I did my first big brake stand today, hit 4300 rpm in drive, so somewhere in the area of 135 km/h both going for about 10-15 secs, i am likin the cam in the motor. :ratedb:

haha i was up on sunday but i left before i saw that thing go through the slew. 12" IFS lift + 40x15.5r22 toyo mt's = pavement pounder. so gay. i would never lift a vehicle with independant/torsion bar suspension.

and that 6x6 was nasty... i saw him pulling everyone out!

and zumbo does burnouts at the westside rd light!.. with lots of smoke.

RRxtar 05-23-2007 08:17 PM

that 6x6 was so sweet.

i liked when the guy with the Ford Dualie broke , and his buddy with the Chevy got stuck and broke trying to pull him out, which caused the big Ford on 49s to break and then 2 of the 3 got hauled out by the 6x6.

underscore 05-23-2007 08:33 PM

haha I read this and start humming "Truck Got Stuck"

girlcrazy_420 05-25-2007 05:50 PM

Drove 2 Miatas across my work parking lot today. I could barly get my ass inside of the 91', beyond the clutch that slipped when U hit the gas, and the interior that was thrashed; I was merly impressed. Than scooting over to the 2007' that was impressive. Enourmous amounts of room, cumfy interior, and power on the fly. Punch the gas and the ass-end kicks out without any hesitation. Cant say i'd ever buy one, but they seem like they would make a great go-cart

underscore 05-25-2007 08:33 PM

they're basically go-karts with doors.

except for down_hill_dogs. his is a performance go-kart with doors :P

indeed it is! haha so many miatas in town right now. topless sun run this weekend! man so many go-karts!!! hahah (sorry ...to much wine for a non-wine drinker!)

bmxkelowna 05-25-2007 10:54 PM

i like miatas >.>

girlcrazy_420 05-26-2007 12:27 AM

They are starting to grow on me, never been in a Miata over say... 20k; but for something small and RWD, they seem like they would be great way to get yourself into trouble.

Delerious 05-26-2007 12:54 AM

they're fun for the sheer amount of 'girls car' comments you'd get for owning one... and the looks on their faces when you showed them what they're capable on an auto-x track would be too sweet...
