ahhhh I've seen pics of that truck on 4x4 boards...looks sexy as hell on the outside ;)

Danny: no thanks, I'm already deep enough in debt lol...if I'd buy a Honda it'd probably be a b-series powered EF hatch or EG coupe :D ...but I'll continue to admire cars like yours from afar ;)

that bitch, you call her friend up yet to pay for the damage?

ColinK 12-08-2007 04:57 PM

harsh man, that sucks. If someone purposely broke it, I HIGHLY doubt you'll be able to get them to pay for it...

some random from a party that was going on upstairs. the people who live there are paying for it, and they are gonna try and get her to reimburse them.

ColinK 12-08-2007 06:25 PM

So on my way to penticton yesterday I was about the 5th car behind that huge head-on collision on drought hill outside of peachland. we pulled over to see if we could help but there was nothing we could do. it was messy. RIP to the driver :(

then on my way home from penticton this morning I drove by that truck that the kid flipped into the lake outside of peachland just after they pulled him out of the water. RIP to the driver :(

Went out wheeling tonite, took the beta trail to James lake, than took a narrow logging trail (high something) down to Ellison. Overall a good night, snow wasnt deep enough to get stuck; but there was enough to have a bit of fun. Mabye 10inches at James lake.

Ya man, I am stoked as to how much I have been working. I took a slight wage decrease to come back to this company but I stay a lot busier. This paycheck will be my biggest check since march ish. Where are you staying/working now??

Therin 12-11-2007 03:36 AM

same place, i applied to be an operator for encana. less money, way more stable.

zumvette 12-11-2007 09:24 PM

I got some bad news today, we do a lot of work for conoco and they are shutting down all drilling in Canada until they can figure out why multiple wells went up in flames in the couple weeks. Nabors 14 burnt down, ensign 114 flamed up, nabors 18 kicked and is leaking sweet gas, very gay. I also heard that a rig by tumbler ridge went up in flames as well. This will slow our company down a fair bit.

zumvette 12-11-2007 09:27 PM

Encana is way more stable and steady but they do pay a bit than other companies. Stability vs. higher wage, ill take stability. I hope things work out well for you. I know a few consultants that went over to Encana from Conoco this summer, most didnt enjoy it to much but couldnt complain to much because they were working.

Therin 12-12-2007 10:42 AM

well i know the one by tumbler they lit on fire cuz they had a massive blow out they couldnt contain. as for the other ones, this is the first i have heared of them.

Got two tickets during work last night. First one consisted of a ticked for "not clearly displaying new driver sign" It was in the rear window in a pouch! What she said... my window is on "too much of a slant to be properly viewed" AND the condensation from my window made the "N" not clearly visible. Than I merged onto 97 from sutherland, following the flow of traffic. The road was a white mess of snow and seeing the white lines where IMPOSSIBLE... so I got a ticket because I was taking up 2 lanes. Go figure eh

That 2nd fine is pretty weak sauce, actually both were pretty gay, its only the 14th, they must be behind on the quota drastically for lame sauce tickets like that. Unless you got pulled over for something less that they cant prove well like speeding by and they dont catch you on the radar, then they give gay tickets like that. I know first hand.

KyleMR2 12-15-2007 10:53 AM

ya, sooo much snow. i dont know what lane im in half the time
