that's fucking ridiculous! almost as bad as those k-cars w/ 50" rims...

or those outrageous jdm cars w/ the wild body kits and super long exhaust pipes.

off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of oz.

Nice to have power and heat again. Fucking landlord didnt pay the hydro for 3 months and we got cut off for 3 days, stuck in a freezing dark house and it sucked. Using car batteries and power inverters to give us atleast some sort of entertainment by powering up the computer/modem for 2 nights.

Delerious 02-20-2008 04:02 PM

i've been wondering why it's been relatively dead around here, after looking at dhd's sig now i know why :p

Or more like....

I pay taxes, I helped support Fern the crackwhore that lives on east hastings, collects welfare to keep her crack high going, lives in a dumpster, and steals from other tax paying citizens to supplement her addiction.

What a waste of resources. What a waste of flesh.

SmokeyTheBandit 02-21-2008 04:05 PM

yeah i know the feeling.

i work at shaw and its called something like a 'success sharing plan'

basically we get 2 a year if the company hits it targets or does exceptionally well.

considering shaw pretty much dominates every market its in, and now with the phone service out. i'll be getting these alot :)

ive never worked for a company that gives you stocks and bonus'

zumvette 02-21-2008 06:48 PM

No, I did a motor swap, solid front axle, and put all dodge panels on my s10 and gave it a fulsize frame.

I very much doubt that you're paying 60% taxes. They may have taken 60% of one check, but you'll get some of that back when you do your taxes (assuming they're not under-deducting your other checks). Your annual income is your annual income. The tax deductions over the course of the year are just there so the hit isn't so hard at the end of the year. I would rather them take too much than have to pay a ton in one lump sum.

Yup, and somebody else paid for your last hospital visit..and your education...and whatever other social programs you have ever used. The only guarantee with social programs is that everybody will disagree with some of them.

While I do agree that the welfare system may need some changes, the people that use it do need the help and they're not all crackheads. It would cost way more to monitor who is using the money for what, so its easier and cheaper to just let the crackheads buy crack. And if we don't give it to them in welfare payments, they're just gonna break into your house or car and take it anyway.

i get taxed hard because i am in the second highest tax bracket 75k to 125k

anytime i get a bonus cheque it gets overtaxed for some reason, and i know i get it back come tax time.

i should be getting back at least $8,000 this year, if not more.

Probably wise if I didnt say anything... I just spent the last few hours in questioning at the rcmp shop with 2 detectives, trying to intimidate me... photo's etc. Its a attempted murder investigation, so if anyone else saw anything...

jeffh 02-22-2008 06:45 PM

How is it that on a day to day basis the most craziest shit happens to you and only you? Seems like everytime I come on this site and read a post by you your either selling a vehicle, wrecking a vehicle, someone stole your shit or now in this instance a buddy getting his throat slit. You need to live in a closet for a while safe and sound from everyone and yourself.
