i would never rent a suite to a buddy for the same reason that you can not do business with friends.

Yeah, renters can be a pain in the ass...but its the difference between an older $200k condo and a brand new $450k house. I think its worth it considering they will pretty much be paying the mortgage. I live in a basement suite right now (non-owners upstais) and its not bad. It is loud as hell when they walk around, but the floor isn't insulated. I will insulate my floor, and I will be on the top so it doesn't matter anyway. I think its just a great way to get ahead in the housing game.

well i just talked with my realtor. i told him the plan i am after and hes going to get back to me after he talks with the builder.
basically a 1300sq ft modified bi level. you go up a small set of stairs to the master bedroom which is above the garage! lots of room. 2 bedrooms on the main floor. 2 bedrooms, maybe 3 on the lower floor with seperate laundry/kitchen/ bath/entrance.
i am pretty stoked if this falls within my plans, the house would be ready by fall!
i would make some minor changes, but nothing to crazy. |

in your bedroom, you will need a firepole to the car-hole.
when not being a firepole, it can be a stripper pole

So I finally got my taxes done for last year. I know I am late but they dont care when they owe you money. I was very confident that the government owed a decent amount because last yr I had 3 jobs and the first job I maxxed out my cpp and ei, so all the cpp and ei I paid at my next 2 jobs was money that I should be getting back as long as I paid enough income tax. Usually ppl in the patch psy too much in taexs because their paychecks vary so much, well mine did cuz I took most of the summer off.
Well the lady doing my taxes gets back to me today and had some news, she starts telling me how shes doing etc..., then asks about some moving expenses for going to and from ktown to gp, her tone makes me a lil uneasy thinking I might actually owe some money then my head starts wondering how much crap ill be in and penalties for filing late etc.. only for her so say well its not bad, thinking to myself be a couple hundred bucks or something really low for her to say they owe me $4491.xx man that kicks ass.
woot, if I buy a bike I think ill be buying some nice gear. and maybe a piston for the quad.

so ive been waiting a fair while to get into a a specialist to fix my toe. i had an ingrown toe nail on my left foot, and it was pretty bad. we are talking like 1yr.
so anyways, it finally got fixed today. most painful exp i have ever gone through. it took maybe 30 minutes. he had to give me some extra freezing because i could feel him working on it.
so he had to cut out part of my nail, say 20% of my nail, and at least half of that was growing directly into my toe, which was alot. lots of bleeding. so to make sure it doesnt happen again he sliced and diced my nail bed up, and he was telling me nail beds are very hard to kill. he busts out his surgical torch and starts cookin my toe like a burger to make sure he killed that area lol. and it sure as hell didnt smell like your typical burger on the grill, more like toe jam!
anyways, the freezing wore off and ()*@)(#*)(@*#. im on tylenol 1s and ibprofin, the bastard never hooked me up with t3s.
im off work for the next few days, thank god for sick days.

I've had mine for 6 months now, hoping it would get better, trying to lift the nail out of the skin, with no dice.
Going to get my prescription filled tomorrow, doctors almost certain it won't work and I'll have to get surgery.
FUCK
And I'm sure I'll be out of work extra long as I work at a pool, and probably am not supposed to be getting it wet. I'm not looking forward to the pain lol..

went rollerblading thurs night around MacPark and coming out of the nature walk I started gaining some speed and all of a sudden there's a gap of dirt a few inches wide in the cement with the sand smoothed over that you don't see until the last minute. I got some wonderful road rash because of that I'm still in pain from it. City of Kamloops

FUCK

I'm not looking forward to the pain lol.. | hahaha, poor bastard. i bet yours may not be as bad as mine was. as far as getting it wet, yeah i really forgot to ask. he said to keep it covered for a few days. its been 5 days since i had the surgery, on the 3rd day there was no pain whatsoever. i only took drugs for the one day really, some ibprofin on the second as insurance.
when i showered for the first few days i just tossed on a shower cap for my toe made out of saran wrap lol. on the 4th day i stopped covering it up, but i still bandage it up after my shower seeing as i work in steel toes all day, just a little extra insurance.
it looks like its more or less healed up from the surgery, and i am sure i can get it wet with no issues, but i am playing it safe for a few more days at least. i gotta get the stitches takin out in a few or so.
damn feels like heaven walking now, i was beginning to think that walking with emense pain was the new way of life.
want me to post a pic of my toe after the surgery for some eye candy? |
