I have assembled my new "Megasquirt" ECU, took about 10 hours to build all the components. Everything has tested out perfect, now for the fun part tuning and installing.

Before:

After:

Relay board: (this will sit in the engine bay and all my sensors will be connected to the ECU through the Relay Board)

Stimulator: (this simulates all my sensors for testing purposes to ensure everything is working)

Bought peters prelude 2.0si cyl's 2 and 3 are both dead and full of oil. Looks like the block is iether toast or there is holes in the pistons. Gonna be a fun engine swap.

Good to hear Craig, but you'd be suprised at how often you DON'T have refill it, depending on size reservoir. Because of the high pressure and small nozzle, there is very little volume that comes out. I bet even with you autoXing alot, you'll only have to fill twice a month if it's a 2-4L reservoir.

Thanks guys, I figured.. Even in the winter, I still hit WOT from time to time. If hitting it, why not have zero ping? It works great, and man it's going to be FAST with the other pulley.

I never realized how much of a pain in the ass it was to do a head gasket on a B20a5. I'm used to simple designes without a/c, p/s, cruise... random sensors nor dual camshafts. Just to unbolt the head you've gotta pull the cams since honda located the head bolts directly undernieth. Now that the cams are out, the exaust mani is off, a/c pump is gone; I've got the wonderfull world of labeling wires and taking the whole head off.

Now it leaves me with the decision, remove the intake from the head or take the intake/head as a whole setup. I'm not worried about wrecking gaskets as those will be replaced, but the decision if I can easily locate all the damn bolts since I'm doing a "in the car rebuild"

once there is enough traction on the pavement to warrant putting it on! haha right now even on the big pulley it's hard to not spin the tires.

Tried getting the head removed this evening and still got a few things to do. Between labeling everything, we managed to pull the a/c, p/s, all the vacuum lines, wiring, fuel rail wiring, cruise and trany cables, but the exaust mani bolts seemed to have been striped before we got to them. Not being able to reach the bracket that holds the exaust onto the block, we decided to just remove the exaust studs and leave the exaust were it was. New problem has arised... the intake manifold has a bracket on iether sides bolting it onto the block. I wish myself luck fitting a 12mm soceket up there to undo everything.

yeah, a brake flush on that car was well overdue! Hopefully now the fluid won't boil and lose all braking like it did to me once!
