whos uneducated? clearly not you, dont try and correct someone when you dont know what you are talking about because it makes you look dumb. Just a thought Quote: Originally posted by proshoraca ya man i read it, you said he doesnt need a 5" downpipe unless hes making 1500 hp. pretty clear to me. obviously u dont know who 13bt is or what he has, was a pretty uneducated statement, not surprised coming from you.

didn't mean to create some b.s. or come across as a dink(quite out of character for me), a fair bit of b.s. on this side lately. my post was quite uncalled for.
modded a hefty box of hp to the bed-room this afternoon, hopefully into car within a month from now.

Put on a short ram intake and solved the check engine light issue. Well... the short ram caused the light and needed a hole drilled for a air sensor

I left it as is since I liked the look of it. As for weight im not too concerned about that, but for functionality you do bring up a good point. I'm going to leave it for now since im moving to a map sensor setup. I'm thinking it could help smooth the readings that the map sensor grabs with my higher lift cam. I'll probabaly do some experimenting come summer time when the rest of the car is together though. I'm sure ill notice a huge change in throttle response without that AFM in there already.

big trucks make 600+hp and 2000+ft/lbs stock, yes. and many turned up over that to. u have to remember that motors making that power are also 10+Liters so a 5" dual exhaust is necessary. motors making 60psi boost are generally a cummins or a twin turbo cat.
on topic tho, replaced my pcv valve wow noticing a much nicer idle.

Put a 3.3k ohm resistor in place of the IAT to trick the computer into thinking its warmer than it really is. Dont know if it'll do anything, but worth a try.

un-modded the 3.5ohm resistor. Ran too fucking rich and could hardly breath with all the fucking emissions.
