I've posted a bit in the RS Classifieds section, have yet to post elsewhere on the forums. Figured I'll start off with an intro post. My name is Matt, and cars are my thing. I have 2 cars, one is a 1993 Prelude SRV that I'm currently using as my winter daily. Stock engine, H&R Sport springs, Koni Yellow shocks, steel braided lines. My other car is also a 1993 Honda Prelude SRV. Honestly too many mods to list here, but its awesome. :) |

Hi Revscene, I'm happy to finally be a member. I love cars, but it's kind of a pity that the automotive subforums are relatively inactive compared to the rest of the boards. Still, this was the only generic car forum for Vancouver that I could find; the others are more specialized/niche (e.g. BCMazda3, Dubberz, BC4x4) and not to my tastes. I like coding, video games, literature, like the guy above me I like poker (though I'm not very good at it). Car-wise, I'm a big fan of European and JDM cars, and hope to own a grey-market import someday. I really want an S15 Silvia, a Series 8 RX7 or a GDB Impreza, something I could get for under $15K. Or, a DC5 Integra R. I hope to be a valued contributor to Revscene. |
Greetings Revscene! My name is Don and I am new to this forum! I have been lurking around as a guest for a few weeks and decided to sign up and join! I currently drive a 2008 Starfire White Pearl Lexus IS350 RWD. I drove previously a 98 Accord, and just treated it as a Point A to Point B car. So now that I have upgraded my car I am started to get more into care taking, and maintaining.. so I am seeking out to this forum for any information I can get :) * best part is this is a local community which can probably answer questions more effectively than generic search on google.. What made me decide to be apart of the Revscene community, is the amount of local community and support members provide each other and handy as a resourceful tool for any place to ask questions for the Automotive industry. I hope I will be able to meet and greet some of you in the near future, as this will be one of my new routines to log and surf the forum Cheers :) |

Hey RevScene, I'm new here, relatively new here in BC area. I drove a beat up EM2 Si in Toronto and now drive an E46 325i. I'm looking for a new car though, preferable a GR hatch WRX/STi. New here as well, lived in Shanghai since 2010 and just recently came back..... scene is so different than when I left. Previous cars: 81 Deville, 91 Mustang NBA, 80 corvette, 5x rps13 (200sx/ 1 sil80 replica, 1 targa rps13) 91 Mazda 323 gtr, 2 FC3S, 2008 Malibu, 2013 Hyundai Sonata, currently z32 TT 300zx A lot of diversity in my garage, always been a car guy.... enough to get the lady irritated Where the Z guys at? Moved to the Vancouver area this spring, a definite improvement over Calgary. Currently have a 1999 Impreza with a 3.3L flat six swapped in. We'll see if I can get it to pass an OOP. Still working on a few things before I book one. |
