that mouth is begging for an intercooler..

Haha, now you want a Del Sol ?

There's no denying it, you ARE 16.

FaT-DrunK 07-24-2004 10:33 PM

I still want the MR2, but the del sol is the closest thing I can actually afford, without being cheap..

2 seater, targa top..

docomo 07-24-2004 11:10 PM

haha... this is getting rediculous...

what a turnover... from mr2 to ricer del-slow...
go with the del-sol... its a crime to rice up a mr2... since wavy bodykits are your thing...

FaT-DrunK 07-24-2004 11:13 PM

I woulda kept the MR2 stock...
but the blitz del sol looks oh so nice..

docomo 07-24-2004 11:20 PM

does blitz even make a real del-sol front bumper or is it just blitz style? there is a difference ya know...

[edit]
here's the blitz mr2... much much nicer...

FaT-DrunK 07-24-2004 11:38 PM

If im gonna get a MR2, i'm gonna get the TRD2000GT kit..only kit i'll ever get for an MR2..

i think its blitz style..dunno.. but it'll look oh so sexy with a turbo kit + intercooler to fill that mouth..:D

u might know that the actual trd kit itself will cost more than the MR2 itself.

fukamoto 07-25-2004 12:54 AM

werd.
before you have a car, when ur like 16/17..you say...man, if i had a civic, id onyl grace it with spoon parts and jdm...going to give it this and that, spoon engine, etc...but once you go to a shop and find out how much it goes for, you go to a rice shop instead and buy a $100 muffler instead of a $1000 spoon n1 you wanted originally...you get $400 sir rims instead of the spoon sw388's you originally wanted..etc.

thats what separates dreams from reality. the price tag.

the average decent nonebay TRD WBK cost $1500 USD...
then installation and paint averages around $5000USD ...

so that's close if not more than $10K... good luck tho... but if you go thru it, you wont be the first as there are already 2 or 3 of them running around locally.

Mike Oxbig 07-25-2004 03:07 AM

wow ur parents buying u the car and buying u the parts.. must be a lucky kid

i think it is like this:
b18C is the ITR engine
b18C1 is the integra GSR engine
b18C2 is from the integra vti-r (japanese GSR with the same hp)

i think the C2 will cost much more than the C1 since it has a JDM stamp on it..

Oh how I agree, next he will want a Supra and then next week a 300ZX Turbo.

I think he should look at a FD if he want to spend big bucks on parts and engines ...... and trying to pass Air Care.

dicecube 12-23-2009 01:14 PM

sorry for bumping this old thread, but curious as to what he got?
