The Ground Rules - Please Read

Welcome to the Photography Forum.

Here are our guidelines to our forum.

1. RESPECT all members of the community.

2. The Offtopic Thread will be for off-topic discussion, meets, etc.

3. Feedback on all work posted is strongly encouraged. Remember, no one is perfect. We're all here to try and help each other improve our skills so if something is negative, it's not an attack on you or your work.

4. Nudity. Totally allowed but please be considerate and put NWS in your title for anyone who's not doing any real work at work. No porn. If you're looking for porno, there's a porn thread in VIC OT.

5. Keep file sizes reasonable. I'm giving you points if you post a full 6MP image. You don't want to post anything that big anyways. Keeping file sizes small protects you as well because small pictures are almost useless commercially.

Have fun folks. I'll add to this if necessary but remember, have fun.

The Photo FAQ

I know you guys have a load of knowledge to share. Post it in here!

I'll be scouring through our old thread and posting what I find in here. Of course, most of the time, we can't lay claim that the technique was originally thought up by one of us but whoever wrote it up took the time to do just that so let's give credit where credit is due.
We encourage everyone to introduce themselves and start with posting their snapshots.

Here's the list:
