But I did go through several road blocks with the JDM plate on, and they didn't say anything about it...I always have my BC plate in the car with me tho, just in case
Initial-D anyone? Hehe |

Reflectors are needed, double exposure (car and background) and some photoshopping. If you look in the image the car gives off a little halo *editing*

He tried to black himself out of his bumper but didn't do a good job.
He also used the Highlight/Shadow feature in photoshop to bring out the exposure of the vehicle. This as Tom mentioned, creates the halo around the car.
It could be done with flashes but 2 things would have had to be done. It would have to be bare bulb and it would have to be quite far away.
The sun would have given it a pretty even exposure given the time of day. The shadows are consistent with the Sun so I'm guessing that he did not use reflectors nor flash.
An GND filter would have also helped this shot.
Overall... I've seen better.

alright. so how do they get the colours like they do in a photo like this? Simply post processing? Bump up the contrast a bunch? Polarizer Filter?
the car is SO white, the ground, the sky and the bridge almost look desaturated... http://www.jtuned.com/media/photobox...&box=&shownew= http://www.jtuned.com/media/photobox...&box=&shownew=

| Again he uses the shadows/highlight function to bring out details in the bridge (he may also use a program called DXO) Then after he'll mask the car to retain it's colour and adjust the saturation.
A better way to do it would be to do a HDR and then edit accordingly. It would take down a lot of the noise in the bridge.
