Alternatively, in this situation a reflector or a flash would light the front of the car more which would then lessen the difference between the front and back.

It doesnt matter how dark or light out it is, it's possible to expose it properly. However, the object is to light it as EVENLY as possible.
Just a a question...so would a double expsoure work as well?

yes. you would have to expose one for the foreground, and one for the background, and then combine the two on the computer. At least 3 exposures generally works best.

Awsome, thanks for answering ckrieg.

As for Hyperrev, those action shots you take of the bikes and the quad...do you guys usually use AF or just manually focus it? It seems you guys always get the focus SPOT on.

nah i never manual focus for action stuff, i just set the camera to AI Servo and select the AF points the subject is likely to be closest to and the camera/lens does the rest.

So, I got pretty excited about spring being almost here, so I went ahead and put A rim on

I'm pretty stoked to get some coilovers and then throw ALL of them on

Are those Hamann wheels on a VW? Car looks tastefully modded, don't know what the rear looks like though.
