any advice for a newb?

mc25 11-12-2007 05:29 PM

@frostdiamond.
Yum. I love the new eclipse's they feel so futuristic, but still modern.
Nice pics too.

Neva 11-12-2007 08:03 PM

the one pic of the front end of the eclipse makes it looks like the front of a supra looks good

niforpix 11-12-2007 09:12 PM

You gotta watch your horizon :)

frostdiamond 11-12-2007 09:15 PM

Thanks guys! Though I still think the new Eclipse is not getting the attention it deserves. It's got power, style, comfort, and then some.

I see one on the street maybe every 2 weeks. Kinda sad.

MikesJo 11-13-2007 01:53 PM

LoL yea ryan took that.

leon92prelude 11-14-2007 09:45 PM

So these are my first shots with dslr 40d

I know it is overexposed, since i took them with 15sec exposure time and the aperture isn't set in best form
and many other issues..but after editing felt it was sort of passable :(

i think wes means that the background lighting should be more naturally orange than the green-yellow it looks in the photo

the only way to get around that is to have a different wb for the background and foreground

frostdiamond 11-15-2007 06:33 AM

My opinion only. I know STIs are awesome performance cars.

But man this things looks HIDEOUS.

2 of the best performance cars out of Subaru and Mitsubishi both look like they came out of a cereal box.

Nice! 335?

Only thing is Richmond is now infested with 335s. And most 335 drivers, from what i heard-----no offense----drive like they own THE best car on the planet.

Thumb down to that.

But thump up to your pic.

Domani 11-17-2007 11:14 PM

I totally agree with u. Cause those people can finally own a car
that drives like a M3 with the cost of a 330.

And it's a 328 Sport actually. Thanks.

frostdiamond 11-17-2007 11:16 PM

Damn bro! You'd fool me into thinking this is a 335 any time!

I don't know much about modding bimmers, but is there a way, or rather, will you want to change the stock yellow halos to blue?

Personal opinion, but I think blue halo + 6000K will enhance the front end quite a lot.

But man. nothing like a clean white car.

I gotta say this. VERY NICE! Nice shot! Nice ride!

frostdiamond 11-17-2007 11:18 PM

I personally also think that chicks that don't know how to drive shouldn't be given vehicles like a 328 or +

I am saying this because I know many girls that roll in 328 and 335. And they drive it like a camry.

That's just a disgrace to the engine. Haha!

Where is that? The new aerospace campus?

Neva 11-18-2007 12:15 AM

ok so i'm new to the game and this is my first shot. I took it with my point and shoot (still working on getting the dslr but I'm excited and just want to start taking pics)
pretty much i'm just trying to play around with angles and see which ones work and which ones don't this was the best of the batch i took. by the way i know the lamposts and stuff in the background kinda ruin the shot but the cars wasn't ours so we couldn't move it lol
other than that please do give you 2 cents I really want to get better.

- You've cut off the car at all the wrong places: the wheels are cut at the bottom, the front & back end are cut off.
- The guy is trying too hard to look cool it's awkward, and his feet are chopped off like some Vietnam vet who stepped on a small landmine.
- Underexposed.

Kepp working at it.
