And I *did* go to SFU for a while. Sucks there.

Where do you go to school now?

Walperstyle 02-21-2005 06:09 PM

why would you go to school for photography?

it doesn't take that long to ps a name and email onto an image..

haven't herd from them since i email them like last week.;)

Well NWN should have replied by now. I believe the banner will change soon. I would put your name up there myself If I could. Send a request to Alkatraz, the webmaster.

Either way, nice shot.

My advice is to do less 'reflections' shots. You do too many of them, hence why I like the night shot of that r32. If you keep taking pics at the same locations the comments will be 'oh its another one of these pics'

...but if your getting paid, thats really the only thing that matters

either way good stuff.

There is so much information online, and no schooling can replace the simple daily practice.

I have taken over 10,000 pics with my camera over the past 1.7 years I owned it.

You get comfortable, its like driving a car. Get a new one, learn its limits by going out and having fun.

that is so true. I had a 1.4 mp fuji. Some of its shots are on my website.

The only drawback to a lower mp is; You are limited to printing and huge desktop resolutions.

The only "Courses" I took were in highschool, other wise I learn online, and go out and have fun as well :P
Talking to people on here, and other sites really help as well.
But I'm sure theres stuff I Could learn from taking a course or two...Who knows, Never gone to school after highschool yet, that's next year.

Walperstyle: Do you know the difference between gif and jpeg? Seriously... your site is so piss slow because you don't use them properly.

You can call me Mike :). So when using the 50 it gets in the way, not the 70-200 though cause of it's length.
