I think this one came out pretty well. Any tips on how i can make it look more pro?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...8/IMG_8216.jpg

anyone notice anything wrong in the picture?

niforpix 02-10-2008 08:34 PM

I would've cropped it more on the right side. That white strip is really bugging me, and that little black thing next to the white strip.

ColinK 02-10-2008 09:24 PM

^ yup. Exactly what I would have said. Otherwise nice dof!

davidhtam 02-11-2008 07:48 AM

Ok, i've made a few adjustments to the photo:

Cropped, and adjusted the colors to bring out some more warmth. Did i go overboard on the yellow's/oranges?

I couldn't crop out the shoulder bolster of the seat... it made the picture look funny

That's what happens when you park in the ghetto....

Ya know, I've seen these guys in their loweriders with the little dinky undersized wheels, but that's just ridiculous.

Then again, parallel parking should be a snap!

^^ I hope you don't mind the C&C from me.

1. The car looks like it's going to slide right off the frame. The angle is to extreme, remember that.

2. Meh, nothing to really focus on. Shape? Rims? I don't know?

3. Ok composition, but your left side isn't strong enough to support the car.

4. Bad location! Cars in the back are still very visable and parked right on the roof .

5. Fire hidrant is so bright it's sort of overpowering the image. If you want to close the car withing a frame you should find something on the other side too.

6. The composition isn't very good, so whatever you do to the colours won't help.

Take my C&C's and learn from them. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to post.

^^^I mostly agree with Mana. While these pics are much, much better than your Jaguar S-Type pics, they still lack punch. You need to pick a different location, or work with it more. The one with the fire hydrant is the weakest one in the set. While the use of complimentary colours is commendable, the hydrant ends up being more of a distraction rather than part of the photo.

The extreme angle makes me queasy when I look at the picture.
