Looks like a GT2, pretty sure it's a GT2 by the front grill, and side vents. A turbo is wider in the rear. Love the wheels. Are those stock just powder coated black with a red stripe? Hot rims.

!SG 03-15-2008 06:18 PM

its a porsche 911 997 turbo.

he did some cosmetic changes.

the rear fenders are wide, just that the wheels and the wing dont make it look as wide...

OffroadZuki 03-16-2008 12:22 PM

good call on putting a completely black car in front of something that colourful...I like it.

Alphamale 03-16-2008 11:50 PM

SaviorSelf_666 03-17-2008 06:46 PM

I'm always a creeper, and thought I'd post up a pic I took today. I'll get my buddy Ckreig to take some WAY better shots sooner or later.

snow got a little deep... expecially in the ditch haha. still made it passed everyone else, a durango was stuck from the night before. we passed a brand new ram spinning all 4 tires in the tracks while we were in untouched snow :)

Please excuse the grain and/or soft pics..It was dark and starting to rain, so I had to go handheld with high ISO :(

Someone refresh me on that rule, "i before e except for c". I remember hearing it all the time but can't remember what it meant.

Ronald what kind of wheels are on that accord? I like the rims :). They look like some sort of basketweave by a japanese company and not euro.

davidhtam 03-19-2008 10:46 AM

i'm guessing they're phill's old sparco wheels?

RonaldTypeR 03-19-2008 11:48 AM

Hehe no, these are old skool 2-piece wheels, they're actually made by Bridgestone :)

I saw your Rx8 on Granville today. I was in a WRB WRX on black stockers. :)

Nice picture, the colors look quite washed out tho. Just my opinion.

bikerx 03-21-2008 10:31 PM

rx8dude - do you have two plates?! one on the front and one on your dash? o_0? and i think you unsharp masked it a little too much or it could just be the general degraded picture...

smk 03-21-2008 10:33 PM

looks like a japanese plate on the dash.

"I before e, except after c" is a mnemonic device used to help students remember how to spell certain words in the English language. It means that, in words where i and e fall together, the order is ie, except directly following c, when it is ei. For example:
  • ie in words like siege, friend
  • ei in words like ceiling, receive
