-first of all, have a "shot" that you have in your head that you want to realize
-"pose" the car with a spot that has a background you imagined in your head
-set up lighting
-think about the DOF you want to have in the shot

Example RonaldTypeR, the 3rd picture with the shopping cars has HUGE potential!! The lighting is perfect and the background could be used just right to bring out the car. Try re shooting it by brining out the car from the carts (if you can) and shoot with a longer lens 125mm-175mm and center the car in the middle with the carts in the background. Kneel down and take it from a 3 footers perspective (because the car looks pretty low already).
Try to cover the frame from left to right with carts too.
3rd picture is distracting because of all those damn shadows. To many lights from to many corners make 3-4 shadows of the same pillar. Try to shoot it in the morning when the suns out. |
