More of the Alfa! |
Where were you for those shots? wasn't Goodwood was it? |
^^ 1 - Try to get the car in full shade or in full light next time. 2 - If you kept that same angle, but focused on the car instead, it would have been a much stronger picture 3 - Shooting anything against the light is harder to expose properly because your not getting enough light for the actual subject. 4 - Turning your front wheels to the right would have gotten you more light on them (like the back) |

It was Goodwood... where else do you get to see those type of cars actually being driven? :D No more of the 8C, but here's another Alfa (sorry, not really sure how to deal with the people in this photo). '67 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale Prototipo: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3250/...bfcf5ecb_o.jpg Here's a pair of Gulf Aston Martins (yeah, either my white balance is off or the orange stripes on these two cars differs): http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3262/...dedc9bb8_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3094/...d8b6706c_o.jpg |

Mmmm goodwood, I am so jealous, thats on my short list of things to do before I die. A friend of mine went this year, cause she was in the area, she knows nothing about cars. She showed me a couple pics she took " I like the color of this one"... It was a Veyron, and there were 4 others beside it. I wanted to hit her. |
here's my contribution.... still a newb so suggestions are welcome! http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...yline/R6-2.jpg http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...kyline/cbr.jpg |
i like the location, the garage door and door and brick wall works nicely. I'd probably try for a tighter crop on the first one Mind sharing the location? |

Derek, shots look good! You got the right whitebalance, but I agree with above. There is a lot of empty space. Maybe trying cropping it down. |
yup, I agree with both of you now I take a second look at it. and ya, if you got a chance to come to Kelowna, I'd more than pleased to show you the location :P |

G Hawk: I like the first one, but would've been better if you had put the bike more in the centre of the door, then cloned in a third light in photoshop for symmetry :).. oh, and tighter crop as suggested just my 2 cents |
Great shots as usual mike |

Not on my computer, that shot was setup and lit and shot in literally 6 minutes haha I can look and see... but the catchlights on the sides of the fenders aren't dead on and perfectly lined up. I have like 6 shots from this angle and that's it. |
