Criot: Nice car. From an editing standpoint, I would take the RAWs through photoshop to adjust the white balance. Also try to avoid having the car in the center of every shot. What wheels are those?

Akina, love it!!! Get that GTI out of the shot though. God damnit I want an E36 M3 so bad.

^^ First thing I see in that photo is the street sign... It's very distracting.

To be perfectly honest... the last shot in that series is the only one that I like.

The colours in the first one wierd me out, I'd like to have seen the second one taken just a little later with a motion blur, the third and fourth are exposed beautifully and the colours are great, but they just don't effect me at all. But the colours, contrast, and action of that last one are really interesting. IMO anyways. Maybe burn the white shoe a little?

Fair enuf. Just playing around.

here is an edit of the pic on the corner that i did awhile back.....i was just playing with PS. Def not a pro by any means

I like the last one the best as well. The snow shots i just took spontaneously cause i thought it was weird to see a street bike sitting on the snow. We were cleaning out the garage. lol

Cheers

my first attempt at a rig shot. I got WAY too lazy to edit the suction cups out and realized it would be way too hard to make look realistic with my editing skills and the lines of the car at that part.

I think I'd rather have the dead space in the front of the car, rather than the back, but I could turn the camera anymore otherwise the infrared trigger wouldn't see the sensor anymore :P
Any C&C greatly appreciated!

well, these suckers (hehe) are pretty strong. They hold 70lbs between the two of them. the only other option I have seen and can think of is magnets which are tough because there isn't always a flat metal part under the cars, and what if the car is super low?

^ I like that shot, Colin.. the leaves on the ground work well. I'd like to give rig shots a try sometime, too.

Haha... I almost got a Legacy. But I got a Mini instead (yeah big change of heart, eh)

Well, it's not an import, but...

Anyone want to explain how to get CS3's save-for-web option to NOT sap all the colour out? I knew how to do it in PS7 but now I've forgotten...

^ thanks for the comments!

Change your profile from AdobeRGB to sRGB. That'll fix your problem

SHIFT_drift - Really like the idea/location/colors of that last shot, maybe try moving in and taking a tighter shot without the whole upper light showing

ckrieg - like the last shot, maybe try moving towards the light (sun) so the background doesn't blow out, and you don't lose most of the front of the car to shadows? The fall colors look good with your car, nice touch.

Good call. Thanks for the tip!

I like the above shot. Nice pan, but I find the train cars in the background a little distracting. Maybe try desaturating the red? Car needs some better suspension too :P

Ya I couldn't decide how much I wanted to desaturate the (barge) I already did quite a bit as it was almost as bright as the car, but I didn't want to go tooo far and have it look like a selective color shot.

The cars suspension is fine, it just needs a better driver coughlowside67cough
