I agree with the above.

The problem with some of them is that you're not shooting with the light, but rather against it. So you're taking pictures of the side that is in the shadow. Try shooting in the other direction next time

One thing I can see right away, is over-sharpening and blown out whites. Also, it would be good the clone out the one hotspot that is created by the light right beside the BMW badge.

I find the crop to be too tight..but that might just be me.

agreed on the crop and the blown out whites.

A wider shot would highlight the "spotlight" effect of the lights and really add to the photo. I really like the lighting effects at this location. Care to share?

^ Too dark, can't really make out the car. Angle is different, but what's with the huge dark smear across the top right?

this is the original photo. I like it dark on the black and white though. What screen are you using? What is it calibrated with?

no no, the smear is supposed to be there. It's one of the plugin black and white filters (shrugs). I'm using a Macbook Pro gen 2 screen to do my editing and same Dell 24" monitor on the side.

To black, even with a calibrated MBP. I think you need to calibrate your monitor, and lighten the picture.

that's not even the rig's shadows lol

but anyway I guess I posted the dark B&W photo at the wrong place. It was more meant to be a art illustration style than a photograph. I would have kept all shadow and highlight detail if it's more of a photograph.

In number 3 I would photoshop that lamp post out (or crop it out). Very distracting.
