did some light adjustment in iPhoto thats it. Any advice on how to make the color pop out more on the second pic?

!Aznboi128 02-12-2009 10:58 PM

dark car + dark background will be hard to set the camera out

might want the turn the iso down... in the 2nd pic theres a lot of noise (in front of the car) try different lighting and mixing with contrast ratio

niforpix 02-13-2009 12:00 AM

1. Pic is a bit noisy. What ISO where you using?

2. Black is not a color :P

threezero 02-13-2009 12:54 AM

the ISO is on auto.

i mean make the black stand out more.

when i took it earlier it was quite dark, i already have trouble taking good picture of black car under sunlight.....

distracting plate > cutting out a chunk of the car

ColinK 02-13-2009 02:41 PM

^ what he said. If you dont want to ps the plate out, then just take it off for the picture.

taken near (I'm not making this up) Hairy Hill, Alberta during a recent roadtrip

peazs 02-15-2009 02:22 PM

too much on the highlights (shadow/highlights in PS) that u can even see the halo around the car :(
and i don't see no hairy hills!

B4N M3 02-15-2009 03:27 PM

You're right! I'm just getting started on the whole PP'ing thing...so far I've been a straight-off-the-card kinda guy...this one was a really bad one too 'cuz of the harsh light in the back and the front was all dark (didn't have my big flash with me)...

Well, we were looking for the "Hairy Hill" sign so I could moon it, but no such luck...it's a settlement of about 12 houses with a collective net worth of $250 :p

Was #4 shot handheld? I guess your shutter speed was to slow. Not bad tho.

PS. I hate those black spoilers... They completely ruin the car... But that's just my opinion.

my tripod doesnt reach that high to shoot at the angle, so i had to stand ontop of a shopping cart holding up the tripod.
