neat rig Asphalt Junkiez, but i'll have to disagree with the extreme fisheye/wide angle shots.... on anything. it seems interesting in the beginning but after a while it gets played out and does nothing to enhance the natural beauty of the subject because it creates way too much distortion.

in the image of the truck, its so distorted that the audience's focus is pulled onto the bulging black hood that takes up almost half the image... nothing to see there

in the tiburon, the tell tale signs of the "spider eye" headlamps cant be seen, only the bulging fender that gives nothing in terms of show casing the car.

for print, these pictures would have no usuable value as they do not showcase the product let alone enhance its properties.

its great in experimenting with extreme angles and pov's, but you have to be very careful and reserved about the intensity of such techniques. Gluck!

u are very correct... the 15mm fisheye is fun and all but for serious work it is not the right tool, i have a new lense on the way.. this is just me messing around having some fun. Thanks for the post!

Those are some nice wheels on the car! I like the 2nd one more as the first one has way too much sky in the picture. However, the lamp post in the 2nd pic takes some of the focus away from the car...

Well, that's just my rookie opinion though...we'll see what the pros think

true enough, just played a little..

i still think the buildings are a bit washed out... idk. i should stop messing with the photo, ill just end up screwing it up.

this one was a bit harder it seams to straighten, useing the grid in photoshop each building seamed to be pointing a different way..
