Haha, I have the original without the text too. It's my brothers car. I stole his car and went out and did a photoshoot for him. Selected this picture out of the photoshoot and blew it up to 18 by 24 and framed it and gave it to him for his birthday.
The "Does it look like we play chess?" is there because me and my bro have a inside joke type battle going on. I have BMW and he has an Audi. I put the original picture up of the BMW and Audi billboards on facebook and tagged him and myself accordingly. He got pissed off and photoshopped another billboard on it. Picture of 3 Audi supercars from w/e races they won and made the caption "Does it look like we play chess?"
That's why I put the caption up.
The caption on the blown up picture looks pretty sick.
This is the first time I have ever done any type of photoshoot by the way.
Although, I don't really plan on being all pro cameraman often, all comments are welcome lol.
Thanks guys.

BMW took theirs down eventually, and Audi had a message up that didn't make sense in the end, lol.... just like his picture where there was no point of reference.

if you didn't care, why bother blacking it out? Or even taking the picture and editing it for that matter? I dont know about you, but I take a lot of pride in my photography.

blanking out your license plate with a big black bar makes it really distracting. If you're trying to produce a quality automotive photograph, either do it conspicuously or not at all, or better yet just completely remove it from the beginning!
I don't think colin is trying to attack you, but just giving you some helpful tips.

That's cool and all, but
Firstly, I'm not like INTO photography myself. I only did this because I thought it would be a good gift to give to my brother.
Secondly, I only blacked that out so you guys can't see the plate...In the poster i've made, the plates are visable.

I shoot for the UBC sports car club. This was one of their lapping days.
I had just over 1000 shots, but I go through and delete ones that aren't framed well, or aren't sharp enough. That and some people run their headlights on, so that fucks with the metering and ruins a bunch of shots. If I can I usually switch over to shooting manual to they still get some shots at least.
