No, its an exposure problem. You can't expose both the car (with dim lights) and the fog lights (very bright light) in the same picture. You would need to combine two different exposures, one for the car/background and one for the lights. You could also try it using off camera lighting, but I'm not sure you have all the equipment for that.

kodak instamatic on ancient film stock and transfered thru a dirty flatbed scanner

... it was an old damaged 5MP pentax

if anyone has a decent affordable used digital camera good for a budding newbie please let me know!

The owner really liked the retro gas station so he wanted a shot there. That truck behind it I think has been sitting there for ages. The rest of the series is in the same position just with more of the bg.

f80 28mm f/2.0 shot at f/8 on expired portra 400. Low res scan. So don't yell at me for quality.
