Got bored.... and sleepless.... Yummmy http://www.shermanlai.com/albums/Pac...5/415_1548.jpg Double Yummy http://www.shermanlai.com/albums/Pac...5/414_1429.jpg Sick of 3/4 shots of cars... http://www.shermanlai.com/albums/Pac...5/415_1566.jpg You can just hear the roar of this engine: http://www.shermanlai.com/albums/Pac...5/415_1573.jpg Not a bad car for the price: http://www.shermanlai.com/albums/Pac...5/415_$$$$.jpg |
Civictron that flare really throws off the picture. If you would of shot with more tail light ran the DOF along the car and ended with the front wheel then that would of gave you some nice reflections and the ambient street lights. Wonder what it would of looked like with the blue glow |
Bang heres one that I did a while ago with the same key focus. Edit: should of taken off the licence plate before taking that http://www.mananetwork.net/pictures/...phy/Maxima.jpg |

Civic your last shot is not bad if that was a sodium vapor street lamp, most people get yellow pictures with those lights, lol. |
mother fuck domani! your car shots are too damn shwing shwing! *uh uh, shit, i think i just threw out my hip* *crawls back* anyways, wicked shots. i would have made the came comment as salar. this might have been impossible, but brought the camera down lower and had the car in the left third of the frame with the road winding down in the bg. |
hmm now i look at it again, i kinda like the vertical shot. bleh, it works, i like, its your style. |

heheh thanks dennis... yes i totally know wut u mean and that idea has been in my mind for very long while now just i don't have the resources to try it out... maybe during summer when sun wakes up earlier, we can try stuff in the early morning. |
Domani, was that with your new 17-40 ;). |
Alrighty, Ima been playin with PS that last couple of hours and ive always tried to get a B/W photo with the car being coloured, So, in this pic I used PS to create layers with an orignal photo, tossed to B/W and then I used a cut out of the zx2 and layers it over the image. I then used the gradient tool to loose the original colors that were in the windows and what not.. whatcha thing, any tips, suggestions? http://www.enhancedautoworks.com/project/zx2/img/bw.jpg |
been fooling around with ps and friend tweaked it.. heres origin just sharpened and desatuarated http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...Celicacopy.jpg here played with some highlights http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...er/Celica1.jpg some more of dodge and softning.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...Celicaedit.jpg |
try whitning the car a bit without blowing out the sky to much. Car more white, sky a bit more dark and white. 3rd picture is good, but the sky is gone |
Yea unless he likes it that way. Nice looking celica :). Black cars are hard to photography :(. |

oo what front bumper is that on the celica? looks like a mugen smiley although i don't think there is a mugen kit for anything else but Honda's (is that true?) and which function in PS to soften the image? :o |

1) Diffuse Glow filter 2) 2nd layer + Gaussian blur + decrease layer opacity |
ooo i haven't played with PS except with the basic ones like levels, brightness/contrast :( how about how he accentuated the highlights? how would one go about doing that in PS? time to play with PS :) |
Heres my version with a bit of masking and curve graphs http://www.mananetwork.net/pictures/...Celicacopy.jpg |
