Fake bokeh looks bad You need to learn to use the gradient tool on the layer, and know where to put your focus point. |

Just to clarify, since I have more time now: Shots like the first one, if it really was a pan, would have motion blur along the right side, but not looking directly down the street. Objects don't get a sideways pan action as they are coming towards you. So if you wanted a feeling of motion, you would have to fade the blur layer from right to left, probably stopping it near that grey column. Shot 2 kinda works, except you made the transition a hard line, and it needs to fade Shot 3 you missed the pavement completely? |
