i hate the new watermark for your photos dennis.. dunno if u just wanted to do it for these guys.. but i think its.. not right haha..
definitley love the first 2 shots.. i think they're your strongest :)

dub.dub 05-01-2005 11:07 PM

oo what f-stop and shutter speed were u at for most of these shots?

Doc 05-02-2005 02:36 AM

Very nice shots.
I like the pink mini-F1 the best. Aside from the excellent motion blur, you have a much better control over exposure; the other images are excessively overexposed.

Mananetwork 05-03-2005 06:56 PM

^^^ i hope I answered your question in the other forum

2.5FearFactory 05-03-2005 07:15 PM

wicked...thanks...any ideas on resizing? (don't have PS...) :(

Mananetwork 05-03-2005 07:27 PM

Do you have tried ACDSee? They have a pretty good photo organizer, not sure about resizing.. Don't use it, it might come in handy for you

2.5FearFactory 05-03-2005 07:58 PM

thanks...no I haven't tried it. I don't have the $$$ for it. Also, all I really need it for is to resize pics and to MAYBE brighten it to compensate for whatever's going on during the transfer...I'm not a big fan of dabbling with Photoshop...I like to leave pictures the way they were taken. A basic FREE program would do me fine (something my 550MHz computer can handle :lol)

i have an old copy of ACDSee that you can have....it's version 3.0, from back in the day when the company i was working for did a joint project with ACDSee.

THANK YOU!!! :D is it pretty user friendly? (read: n00bieeeeee) and pretty small?

2.5FearFactory 05-04-2005 07:13 PM

thanks DaFonz...just downloaded that...messing around w/ it...

QUESTION FOR ALL: even when I resize it, it takes up the same amount of disk space...whaddup with that??? (some websites only allow you to upload up to a certain kb)...

2.5FearFactory 05-04-2005 07:23 PM

ohhhh....kay....figure this one out guys :lol

I went to resize pics w/ my new program...went to "HALF" it...then I went to throw it on my photobucket page...TWICE...and it came through half the size it showed in the pix0r editing program)

original: wxh
what I did/wanted: 1/2w x 1/2h
what I got: 1/4w x 1/4h

what's going on?

Civictron 05-04-2005 07:45 PM

photobucket will resize if the picture file is over 250kb ;)

Mananetwork 05-04-2005 09:14 PM

you have to compress the image when resizing.. let me look into infraview

edit: infraview has no compressor.. your out of luck

DaFonz 05-04-2005 09:24 PM

For compression: Save as .. choose jpeg and show the options dialogue and it'll give you a percentge scale of compression you wanna save as
