http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...7_369415_n.jpg my contribution for today, does anyone use google chrome? They mess up my colour profiles quite a bit (safari on the right, chrome on the left) http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._1769176_n.jpg |

Awesome. I have yet to see one of those on the road. |

That's interesting, I'm using Chrome on a PC, and the photo you posted looks the same as the photo on the right (in Safari). Maybe its a setting or an extension you downloaded? Quote:

^ridiculously shiny. |
Is that bad? I try to keep it as clean as possible. |
Haha nah. Thats a good thing. :) |
1exotic, how did you shoot the benz in the parking lot? Flashes? And it seems like its a dark underground, i have tried taking pics like that before and the lights are just way too bright... Awesome shots |
I donno I think there was a good amount of light, I just used a tripod and most shots were long exposure.. Maybe just try placing your car around the parking stalls as the lighting isn't too dark or too bright. |
did some post RS meet rolling shots enjoy :) http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5060/...395d97af_z.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5011/...8bf15069_z.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5300/...76b4bc62_z.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5293/...880aa7b2_z.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5140/...249c0b19_z.jpg |

Looks like lightpainting! The first one looks a little hot and unsharp Second looks pretty good. I really like the third. The way the light falls off and the positioning of the cars. Cool! |
Yep you are correct! Light painting it is. Posted via RS Mobile |

I went to Broadway Cameras and they didn't have any soft boxes of my size. I was looking for something roughly 24"x24" but they only had one that was 24"x36" I think and it was $199. I then walked to Daiso and decided to make my own soft box. Following items: 1) Translucent folder $2 2) Tracing paper $2 3) Box of oranges without the oranges lol found it in the storage room. 4) Some ductape 5) Masking tape 6) Tin foil 7) Camping flashlight $15 at Can.Tire I started by trimming the corners so I can make a pyramid sorta shape http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...x/IMG_0516.jpg Here's the $15 light http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...x/IMG_0520.jpg Taped it secure http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...x/IMG_0522.jpg Tin foiled http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...x/IMG_0523.jpg I ripped the pages off the folder and kept the plastic cover. Then placed the tracing paper on the plastic sheet. You can control the opacity via number of pieces of tracing paper. I used only one sheet. http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...x/IMG_0524.jpg It works! http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...x/IMG_0525.jpg It's just very fragile though, I had to seatbelt the box. My beloved box which costed me $4.48 tax included + some things around the house! http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/...x/IMG_0526.jpg |
