what's up with the non blurry trees behind the car, but to the right, they're blurry? |
hahaha Dennis the menace.. Ya, here's the original unedited version: http://www.alibabajun.com/internet_f...%201183org.jpg I may have slightly added to the blur with the blur tool, but I can't remember. I've been doing lots of editing lately. ~S PS: That type of blur happens because the trees closer to the camera are moving at a faster velocity relative to the trees in the background; so blur in the foreground, less blur in the background. :) |
tehehe hmm i actually like the framing of the original more... get rid of the cars in the bg, adjust levels, sharpen, and this imo is a keeper. and PS that wasnt the odd blur that i was noticing...let me point it out to ya..:P red circle = clear blue circle = blurred not natural. |
|
I like the original too. |
|
But its the same thing in the original! http://www.alibabajun.com/internet_f...re%201183d.jpg Really? you like the cropping of the original better? I just hate overexposed skies, so I cropped it out. ~S |

what are you talking about niggah?!?!? in the original the blue and red circle are not blurry! in you edited, i presume it was just a sloppy late nite ps blur job! :P i used to HATE HATE HATE blown out skies.....but as time goes on, i've been more accepting of it if it works for the image. in this case, the blown out sky works cause there's a lot of ground infront of it and it gives the car a good exposure. |

Maybe your right; I honestly dont remember. As far as the blown out sky is concerned, I dont think I'll ever change my mind; Although it might work for some promotional magazine adds (to use the blown sky for a place of writing), it just doesnt look profesional. The challenge is to control all the elements, and if you let one slide, then you haven't successfully captured that image. Check out my idol for autmotive photography: www.ruji.net ~S |
fuckin amazing photos that guy has...BUT here are some examples of blow out sky. http://www.ruji.net/automotive/images/ruji_01.jpg http://www.ruji.net/automotive/images/ruji_03.jpg http://www.ruji.net/automotive/images/ruji_15.jpg http://www.ruji.net/automotive/images/ruji_17.jpg dont get me wrong, i'm not slagging yor stuff, infact, you know i like it! domani is another example of automotive shots that almost always have blown out bg's.....having things that are blown out can be intentional, in which case, you're in full control of light! more more more! |
:( Will you just let me be stubborn? ~S |

holy crap salar, those shots of the prelude are quite nice :) nice composition and clarity. the road shots are a little repetitive so they dont show much originality but at the same time there's only so much you can do right? :) nice work man |
Is that with you're new camera? |
