Got lucky on a bunch of those spots. Was just at a friends place for a BBQ and decided to borrow their cars. Challenged myself to getting a workable shot of each car before it got dark, which only gave me about 15 mins to drive out and find a location, shoot, and drive back. Ran out of light by car 7 haha

Nice! Is that your first rally? What did you think? It was a tough weekend for spectators, that's for sure. I was also at PFR, but working on the TV crew...having a laugh with Dave Clark in service:

Antoine L'Estage won the event. I caught this just before the start of transit 1. I love when athletes flick the switch and hit competition mode.

Yes that was my first rally and won't be my last, really enjoyed the variety of cars. Was defiantly tough on the spectators, that wind at the Spius spectator spot was rough but once it died down during the second pass the cold was more bearable... just got to layer up!

Now to plan a trip to Big White for the Winter Rally in Dec.

I like the low angle on that second shot, but man has that location been shot to death now. Sucks because I just moved out that way

love the EF shots 2 posts above, the feel is so nostalgic...did you add noise or is it taken with a phone haha

I agree. Wanted to shoot a car there but now it's been used so much.

yeah I added noise for that retro look haha felt like it was fitting?
