Hey buddy,

Unfortunately those pics didn't come out as I imagined in my head. I was hoping it would light the ground entirely so it would look like undercariage neon lights. However, it just left a bright triangular light in one spot. Plus, I got so carried away with trying to get the infrared transmitter to work, that the composition of the picture came out horrible.

Anyhow, I saw a camera bag on your shoulder. Capture anything good that night?

Thats too bad about the pics, I was kinda thinking it would have been better to have the flash going off from the left rear corner towards the camera (but under the car). But I was only guessing what you were trying to do.

I didn't get anything that night, I was just trying to waste the last bit of charge in my batteries so I could charge them for the car meet, turns out I had 5 shots worth =)

Excellent constructive criticisms, I'll keep that mind next time.

PS can compensate for a bit, depending on how long I spend on it. Of course, it is easier working with something clean from the start though. Here's one w/o the butt sticking out :D Cleaning up the reflections will take ages though.

with your pics, you should have a little more foreground lighting.

I would have added another light from behind the car, however, knowing you, ...you probably have about 150 awesome differnt shots.

I'll stop lurking now... man, you guys take good photos. I'm curious though, I'm toying with the idea of buying a DSLR, something entry level (as opposed to the C8080 I'm using now), and I just wanted to know if they are ACTUALLY worth it.
