Can't do much about that. If he exposed that he would've lost the sky. I love that location, I've wanted to shoot there in the morning.

Yeah, can't do much right out of camera. Ming did a good job on the exposure. Only way to fix it would be post processing and 2 different exposures.

dub.dub 03-08-2006 10:38 AM

for sure
2 diff. exposures would have made it right

[azn angel] 03-08-2006 11:58 AM

actually, i think that image can be save in post production.

dub.dub 03-08-2006 03:06 PM

The detail and focus in that photo blow my mind.

Inked 03-08-2006 10:26 PM

mavm86 i don't really understand the focus of that second photo, looks like someone took a picture and randomly cropped it...

The second one was kinda random actually, you're right. I just shot the sunset, and I didn't have my tripod on me, so I put the camera on the rear wing of the car, and got some of the light filtering through the window and reflecting off the paint. I thought the water drops and reflected clouds in the paintwork was a cool effect.

The reflection on the water was the first thing I looked at before, "ooh nice pan" ;)

Edit: i don't agree :p

dub.dub 03-12-2006 09:16 PM

he was talking about the flare from the sun though (right side of the photo), not the reflection from the water :p

rodneyk 03-12-2006 09:19 PM

Haha, I see that now .... but I still think the reflection on the water is a little distracting

You never wash your car, you take it through the drive through :). When was the last time YOU washed it, lol.

Mananetwork 03-13-2006 12:36 PM

I washed my car saturday... 3 times!!
After each wash I found more dirt ontop of more dirt! LOL
I then took the car through marine drive all the way to horseshoe bay with my sunroof open, windows down and the music cranked!

BTW: thats where I took my friends Golf picture
