^ what time were these taken at? and how long was the shutter speed? |
around 11pm and about 15 seconds? |
that long eh? because I took some shots at 5 seconds, and the headlights were really blown out, and the cars were just lit up. there was even more lighting around that in your picture. Could it be because of the hids? |
^in your pic were the headlights aimed right at the camera though? |
not even...here's the pic: Granted I did bump up the brightness, contrast and saturation a little...but still.. http://www.gad.ca/photography/lindscolin.jpg |

intresting chop... not something u see everyday... but i think had the white have been lit up a bit better, it would o achieve the full effect... and a bit tighter crop... |
yah the lighting was horrible at the rooftop parkade we were at. I agree with the tighter crop, I just never had this image in mind at the time of shooting. In terms of artificial lighting, would utilizing reflectors and an external flash have helped the situation? |

i see a red glow on top of the s2k :p i like the fit and the picture! :) stands out a lot |
Some say they like them, but meh... I don't see them that great. I need more practice for night shots. Tips/Critiques please. http://www3.telus.net/peazs/celica/I...edit_small.jpg http://www3.telus.net/peazs/celica/I...edit_small.jpg http://www3.telus.net/peazs/celica/I...edit_small.jpg http://www3.telus.net/peazs/celica/I...edit_small.jpg http://www3.telus.net/peazs/celica/I...edit_small.jpg |
I like the second to last one the most. They are too small in the first one, and they look blury.. Second is pretty good. Third, the car is in a shadow (light source from the wrong angel) last one is too dark... Just so you know, I am no where near a professional photographer..but those are just somethings I noticed. Nice cars tho! :) also, doesn't the reverse hood scoop block air from the regular hood scoop? |
no idea! not my car. my friend's car. i just shot it. :p |
Both cars look really nice :). dub.dub I think you need a CF hood and smoked head lights to take on that celica :). |
|
lol i'll go for the black out headlights, not the cf hood :) |
