In my honest opinion, LOBSTER and ABALONE for hotpot is a waste. I can think of so many ways of cooking it properly instead of BOILING it in some bland soupbase. Although I agree with the GEODUCK part.

imho Abalone tastes like shit so does Geoduck

i really think most people who eat it just order it cuz its like a "yeah i got money" or "yeah im classy azn" etc because just too many people like it for it to be otherwise (when u consider the taste)

Those and Birds Nest like OMG ITS TASTELESS

yea it's the sauce that makes those dishes better.

i prefer the mushroom wanna be abalone, at least mushrooms taste good

to be honest, there was a lot of sausage that night. but it was ok, cuz I was partying with a Cathay flight attendant I knew, and she brought out a bunch of her FA lady friends :D

did table service and the whole nine yards, so we had a good time on our own.

I only chose that club cuz my friend (HK resident) said HYDE was one of the hottest clubs in LKF at the moment. next time around, I'll probably want to goto Prive as my friend has membership.
